FAQ
- Why would a driver install your app? Because $3.00 lands in their wallet the second they deliver — it's a paycheck with a map, not another dispatch tool. One tap installs the app, they sign in with their phone number, and the $3.00 is queued before they leave the dock.
- Does this replace my TMS? No. It works next to your TMS. Keep the TMS for rating and billing; drop the tracking-only seats.
- Is my email safe? Yes. You sign in with Google or Microsoft through their official OAuth. CharterTrace never sees your password, and only reads the dispatch mail it needs to build your board.
- Do I handle driver payouts? No. The $3 driver payout comes out of your $6 and CharterTrace pays it through Stripe. You never send a driver a payment.
- When does tracking run? Tracking runs from the moment you open the dispatch link until delivery is confirmed — never off-load. Drivers' off-duty time is never seen.
- What happens when a driver doesn't share? You see it on the dashboard right away. One click to re-send the wallet link. Or fall back to a check call. The $3.00 stays queued on the load until they install. You always know.
- How does the $6 per shipment work? Your first 5 shipments are on us. After that, pick a monthly quota (50, 100, 500, etc.). Unused shipments roll over to the next month. Run out mid-month and tracking pauses until you top up. You're never billed past your quota.
- Is my data shared with carriers or customers? Only what you share. Every share link is tied to one shipment and expires on its own about a week after it was last shared. No new links are issued once the load delivers.
